you’re genuinely the worst app ever. it’s so insufferable to use and i can’t ever make a report for the ads that should NOT being playing. videos are disabled from auto playing in my settings and the ads never played, so why are they playing now. bad design and disappointing. all you do these days is disappoint your users and make them yearn and search for alternatives because it’s awful to even open this app. you’re awful, you don’t even listen to your users anymore. scum.

I love this app. It’s perfect for any project I’ve worked on HOWEVER, and I’m not exaggerating, I’ve scrolled past TEN ads in a ROW followed by two pins, then eight more ads when looking for similar content to a pin. It’s no longer easy to look for related content after the initial post and is insanely saturated with ads.
That being said, I’m glad they added sections for boards because it makes it so much easier to organize. I also love that you’re able to collaborate with other people.
The search has recommendations based on what you like and what’s popular in general which can be helpful when you’re in a creative rut. Also, if it has anything to do with makeup or hair it will have skin tone and hair texture options which is amazing.
However, after you search something it can have a ton of ads at the top of the results with an option to shop. That can be a pro or con though.
I do LOVE the community and how the app doesn’t value comments and likes as much as others do. I think that’s a really healthy aspect of social media that Pinterest embodies.
