Pure Chaos
Let it be known across the digital cosmos that the Big Future College Board Score App is not merely a software application, but a crucible and a digital monolith that demands a piece of your eternal psyche alongside your login credentials. I write this review on October 6th from the buckling structural confines of the high school south wing, surrounded by flying ceiling tiles, emergency strobe lights, and the lingering psychological trauma of a catastrophic weather event that materialized the exact second I tried to log in. For months, the Big Future app sat on my home screen like a silent, neon-blue gargoyle while I carried the ancestral memories of 1990s high school students waiting by physical mailboxes, their hands shaking as they tore open paper envelopes. But we are in the future now, a Big Future, and as this fateful PSAT score-release afternoon approached during an after-school study session, the hallway atmosphere grew entirely untenable. The sky outside the wired-glass gym doors turned a bruised, sickly shade of chartreuse while the PA system crackled with a warning that didn't sound like a drill.
I sat at a sticky cafeteria table, thumbs hovering over the Big Future icon, when the building's emergency alarms began to wail in harmony with the approaching wind. A panicked track coach sprinted past shouting about structural integrity, but I was hopelessly locked in a staring contest with a spinning loading wheel. I carefully typed in my username, my password, and all my personal credentials, hit submit, and watched the main, unforgivable flaw of the architecture reveal itself: once you enter your info, the app completely refuses to load. It just sits there, trapped in an infinite loop of digital nothingness, staring back at you like a blank blue void while the cafeteria roof begins to groan under 100-mile-per-hour winds.
The physical school was tearing itself apart, with cinder blocks shivering and the massive double doors flying off their hinges, but my internal world was in worse shape as the app stayed frozen on that empty post-login screen. Imagine the cosmic irony of being trapped in a flickering high school hallway while a literal wedge tornado peels the second-floor library off like a sardine tin. I closed and reopened the app, re-entered my info, only to be met with the same mocking loading circle as acoustic ceiling tiles rained down on my backpack. I whispered to the algorithm, begging that if I were to perish under the rubble of the school cafeteria on October 6th, it would at least stop freezing long enough to let me know my PSAT Selection Index so I wouldn't enter the afterlife wondering if my National Merit dreams died alongside the chemistry lab. Suddenly, the atmospheric pressure collapsed, my ears popped like firecrackers, and the frozen app finally jolted past the login block, warping directly into the score dashboard, blindingly bright against the chaos of flying debris. There they were—digital numbers burned into the screen, showing a score that perfectly mirrored the structural devastation around me. And then the main power grid exploded, the cell tower crumpled into twisted metal, and the screen went black as the tornado roared overhead.
The Big Future app technically works, but it requires the complete destabilization of a high school campus by an EF-3 tornado before it will actually load your profile after you type in your credentials. The user interface is clean, but the emotional tax is astronomical, and the anxiety of waiting for a broken login screen to process while trapped in a collapsing brick building is fundamentally identical to being hunted by a funnel cloud. It runs with surprising defiance during the destruction of public property and its blue color scheme provides a cool luminescence while the lockers vibrate off the walls, but it completely lacks a weather radar integration and refuses to load past the login page when your school is actively being unzipped by the atmosphere. Five stars for the cinematic terror, but two stars for the backend server capacity.

I wish this app didn’t exist
I took the PSAT sometime last year in October of 2025 in that Time I had to create a BigFuture account which was great. Until I thought I forgot my password when I was trying to actually get in for my AP classes but it wouldn’t let me email to get my password so I contacted support though College-boards website only to find out that the Phone number wasn’t even up to date.

To continue my troubles when a teacher finally managed to get me the correct phone number they were unable to help me with my issue and gave me a case number I gave them five days to respond with not a single update.

So I called back first thing the next Monday. 7 AM and this is where I actually learned what happened my College-board/Bigfuture account had been deactivated in less than a year. So they told me to create a new account with the same details again my email didn’t work. So they had me create a new account with my name backwards.

And that finally worked but lo and behold that wasn’t the end of it. So now I’m taking the PSAT again in October and they did update my account to say the name correctly they literally switched my last and first name to be correct on the new account. But they never actually merged the old account. “They gave me another Case number”

So as such I have two accounts one that shouldn’t be working. Which has my PSAT scores and one that is supposed to be working that has my AP Classes.

It is worth noting I can still view my original PSAT scores from my phone Via BigFuture but I’m unable to access my new account because they share the same phone number.

I honestly don’t know how to explain it more. BigFuture and college-board suffer from Terrible administration terrible customer service and support and as such I’d personally advocate for their removal in the United States educational system.

Because they can’t even handle something as simple as account information and logging in.
