Ai fighting is nearly impossible to beat on expert
Pack ripping is as fun as always, trading, new packs have some goodies, pull rates seem to be changing for the better? I don’t know, that one is personal.
The ai battles on expert is frustrating. They seem to get exactly what they need every single time, By turn 3 or 4 they have already used half a deck… I get it, it’s expert but that just seems and feels impossible without pulling a rare candy off rip at that maybe you’ll win
Higher up, Everyone in online battles just build op decks from online so unless you have one don’t really bother. Rental decks I don’t bother with.

Scam
The people working on this game, without a doubt in my mind, turn down the luck for good cards at certain points during sets. I have been playing this game since launch and have opened thousands of pack. They aren’t even trying to hide it anymore. It always feels good opening packs as soon as a new set drops, right, because they turn the luck up, especially for poke gold spenders. Now let’s say you didn’t get the card you wanted right away, so after the first week you keep opening more 10 packs. Next you find yourself not getting any hits at all for the next 2 weeks. I wonder why that is? Nothing good shows up in my wonder picks from my friends in those 2 weeks either. Nothing from my friends in group chats either (yeah I’m a sweat). I wonder why that is? Well like I said I have been playing long enough to see the patterns and now I have no doubts about it. I saved 3,600 hour glasses for the new limited deluxe pack. I used about 480 of them in the first week then went to get more from events and battles. I come back today (about 2 week into the set) and open 15 ten packs (about 1,800 hour glasses). You wanna know what I got? 2 good cards that I already had in the same 10 pack. That was it. A whole year of saving down the drain. I hate myself for wasting so much time on this game. Moral of the story, just wait to open packs until you see other people getting hits in your wonder picks, (not including the guaranteed 24 hour ones that sometimes show up), or someone tells you they got a good hit.

Disappointed & Rage baited
I used to love this game a couple years ago, but nowadays, it just pisses me off!! the packs and wonder picks feel more stingy with special and useful cards for battle, while expert solo battles just set me up for absolute failure even when i edit my deck, use a rental one, or come up with a good strat; right as i’m about to win, the bot pulls out a cyrus card n it’s game over. Or they pull out the best hand AND get to go second in turn, meanwhile my hand is CHOPPED!! everything i enjoyed abt this game now just leaves me frustrated when im only trying to relax n catch a break :(

AI cheats and will have you pulling out your hair!
Like the title says, they cheat. Every single game the AI bot will start with 2 pokeball and a professor. Every single game. Then they always have a xspeed ready to retreat and get the upper hand. It’s just not fair. I love playing against strong decks but not when the AI gets the upper hand by default. They have every evolution, every healer, every retreat card just waiting. You literally have to have a perfect hand to win an Expert
