Clover Pit is a demonic rogue-lite that traps players in a hell of their own creation. Locked in a rusty cell with a slot machine and an ATM, you must pay off your debt at the end of each round, or fall to ruin – literally!

Coin flipping app with extra steps
I really don’t understand why this app has such high ratings, other than the fact that the younger generations have been brainwashed into believing that Gacha Games and Buttons connected to RNG are the pinnacle of gaming.
This game really is just a slot machine. Except it’s even worse than a regular slot machine app, because you can’t even choose to to cash out and take your winnings. Your only option is spin again.
There are random items that you can buy as you play, which rarely have any helpful qualities, and almost never have any synergy with other items you already have. But you can get lucky on rare occasion to create a broken build.
Too many runs are impossible to win right from the beginning. I’ve had multiple runs where I was able to buy every possible item in the shop and take the maximum number of spins allowed in the first stage, but still don’t win enough from the machine to make it to the second stage, and I just die instantly with nothing that could have possibly been done to prevent it.
There is zero skill involved in this game. It really might as well just be a coin flip app that says “You Win” on one side of the coin and “You Lose” on the other.
I regret spending money on it, but at least it was on sale, so it was only $2.

Love this game
I’ve played it on XBOX since it launched and now having it on my phone, I’m absolutely over the moon as it’s great for car rides and doctors appointments or even just laying in bed with TV playing in the background. No two rounds are ever the same because the charms are different. The payouts are different. The jackpots are never the same and that’s what makes it fun not knowing if you’re gonna get through to the next round or not.

I’m not lying when I say this is my favorite game I’ve played in a few years. It seems odd but if you’re familiar with rogue likes, you’ll dig it.
